About Us
The Philippine Psychiatrists in America is a non-profit organization comprised of Filipino Psychiatrists practicing in the United States and Canada. Founded in 1974, PPA aims to promote professional growth and camaraderie among its members, while advancing cultural psychoeducation, advocacy and representation efforts toward the elimination of mental healthcare disparities in the American and Canadian Filipino diaspora. We are an allied health organization of the American Psychiatric Association and an affiliate organization of the Association of Philippine Physicians in America.
