Theresa Toledo, MD, is a geriatric and general adult psychiatrist. She currently works for Henry Ford Health based in Detroit, Michigan seeing patients in both the departments of psychiatry and neurology. She is the main psychiatrist for the only Huntington’s Disease Society of America Center of Excellence in the state. Dr. Toledo attended the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College to complete her medical degree, completed her general psychiatry residency at Henry Ford Health, and completed the geriatric psychiatry program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her professional affiliations include the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP), American Psychiatric Association (APA), American Medical Association (AMA) and she has been active in the Michigan Psychiatric Society for almost 10 years. Her areas of interest in medicine include physician wellness, medical advocacy, and caregiver burnout. Her original home state is California, where she was active in the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Samahang Pilipino organization, and was in leadership in the Pilipino Transfer Student Partnership (PTSP).
