Article I: Establishment of Committees
Section 1. The Philippine Psychiatrists in America herein creates the following committees: Membership Committee, Finance and Fundraising Committee, Publications Committee, External Liaisons Committee, Research Committee, and Education Committee.
Article II: Membership Committee
Section 1. The Membership Committee is responsible for the recruitment, retention, and engagement of members.
Section 2. The Membership Committee will ensure members' adherence to the organization's code of conduct and handle any membership disputes or issues.
Article III: Finance and Fundraising Committee
Section 1. The Finance and Fundraising Committee is tasked with overseeing the organization's finances, including budget planning and management.
Section 2. The committee will also spearhead fundraising activities to support the organization's initiatives and operations.
Article IV: Publications Committee
Section 1. The Publications Committee is responsible for the production and dissemination of all official publications of the organization.
Section 2. The committee will ensure the quality and relevance of content and monitor feedback from members and the public.
Article V: External Liaisons Committee
Section 1. The External Liaisons Committee will foster relationships with external entities such as related professional organizations, government agencies, and the general public.
Section 2. The committee will represent the organization in external events and work towards partnerships that align with the organization's mission and vision.
Article VI: Research Committee
Section 1. The Research Committee will lead the organization's research initiatives, promoting evidence-based practices within the field of psychiatry.
Section 2. The committee will also disseminate research findings to members and facilitate research collaborations within and outside the organization.
Article VII: Education Committee
Section 1. The Education Committee is responsible for the development and implementation of educational programs and resources for members.
Section 2. The committee will ensure the relevance and quality of these programs and promote continuous learning within the organization.
Article VIII: Implementation
This amendment shall take effect immediately upon approval by a majority vote of the members of the Philippine Psychiatrists in America.
